Board members bring extensive expertise in manufacturing, leaf trading and export, fiscal and regulatory affairs, logistics, sustainability, and corporate governance. The Board includes leaders from major multinational and domestic companies such as PMFTC, Inc., JT International (Philippines) Inc., Universal Leaf Philippines, Inc., Fortune Tobacco Corp., Associated Anglo-American Tobacco Corporation, Telengtan Brothers & Sons, Inc. (La Suerte Cigar and Cigarette Factory), and Trans Manila Inc.

Collectively, the Board provides balanced, evidence-based guidance on policy, regulation, and industry standards, while promoting regulatory compliance, sustainable practices, farmer welfare, and the fight against illicit trade. Through this breadth of experience and collaboration, the PTI Board drives the Institute’s mission to advance a responsible, compliant, and sustainable tobacco industry that contributes to industry and national development.
